Best Fresh Face (BFF) uses Ellipse’s patented selective wavelength technology (SWT) to precisely deliver a smart seeking pulse of light into the upper skin layer and at the same time filter out unwanted light using the lowest amount of energy to treat the skin concern. With this SWT, it is able to treat photodamaged skin using less than half the fluence. No active cooling needed, the treatment is gentle on the skin. The treatment involves a light delivered onto the treatment area using Selective Waveband Technology (SWT). The SWT applicators filter out unneeded light waveband resulting in precise treatment with less energy, and therefore less discomfort for patients.

There is no to minimal downtime, with mild redness on face being the most common. Occasionally some pre-existing pigments can turn darker before disappearing of reducing in size and colour.
